We are seeking an experienced and skilled DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Security Manager to join a fast paced and dynamic team. As a DLP Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the data loss prevention program, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive data loss prevention strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security events to identify potential security incidents and breaches, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts by investigating and resolving security incidents, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Manage and configure DLP tools, technologies, and systems, and regularly review and update DLP rules, policies, and configurations to align with evolving security threats and business needs.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams in designing and implementing security controls for new systems, applications, and processes to ensure compliance with DLP requirements.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and gaps in DLP controls, and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to data loss prevention, and proactively recommend and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the DLP program.
- Prepare and present reports, metrics, and findings related to DLP program performance and effectiveness to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in information security, with a focus on data loss prevention, including hands-on experience with DLP tools, technologies, and systems.
- Strong understanding of DLP concepts, methodologies, and best practices, as well as knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.
- Experience in incident response, security monitoring, and security incident management.
- Familiarity with network and system architecture, protocols, and security technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound judgments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are highly desirable.
