Third Party Risk Manager

Bestman Solutions is partnering with a leading investment management firm to recruit an experienced Third Party Risk Manager.

The Role

As regulatory expectations around outsourcing, operational resilience and supplier governance continue to evolve, this role will play a critical part in ensuring the firm’s third-party relationships are effectively governed and managed.

Working across Technology, Risk, Compliance and Procurement, you’ll help strengthen the organisation’s Third Party Risk Management framework while providing assurance that suppliers continue to meet operational, regulatory and security expectations.

You will:

• Manage and continuously enhance the firm’s Third Party Risk Management framework.
• Conduct due diligence and ongoing risk assessments of critical suppliers and outsourced service providers.
• Assess operational, technology, cyber and regulatory risks associated with third-party relationships.
• Support supplier onboarding, periodic reviews and contract governance activities.
• Work closely with Technology, Compliance, Legal and Procurement teams to ensure effective supplier oversight.
• Monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels and risk appetite.
• Produce meaningful reporting for senior management and governance committees.
• Support regulatory reviews, internal audits and client due diligence requests.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen third-party governance processes and controls.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Previous experience in Third Party Risk, Supplier Risk, Operational Risk or Vendor Management within financial services.
• A strong understanding of outsourcing governance and regulatory expectations.
• Experience working with Technology, Risk and Compliance stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, organised and collaborative approach.
