Meet Klarisse

Welcome to the first edition of our Meet the Team series at Bestman Solutions. Today, we are delighted to introduce you to Klarisse, one of our dedicated Talent Consultants. In a Q&A, Klarisse shares insights into her life beyond the office, her passion for food, and even her all-time favourite film. Read on to get to know her a little better.

Tell us a little more about you outside of work, hobbies, loves, what you enjoy doing in your free time?

Outside of work, I enjoy lounging around the living room surrounded by my little dogs. I used to be an avid gamer, but for whatever reason, recently, I find myself watching Netflix series more. During the weekends is when I usually take time to reset my sleep, spend time with my partner and explore new food spots. I had just recently moved back into the mountains, so I’m enjoying the fresh air we get here, too.

What do you think is the best thing about Bestman Solutions? What do you enjoy most about your role?

I like that we’re serious about what we do, but we still keep it light. Everyone here has a great sense of humour, and it helps a lot in dealing with the stresses of work.

Who or what inspires you the most these days? Why?

I moved back to my hometown to get closer to my mum’s home. I guess she’s the one who inspires me the most these days. I want to give her the best life because she gave me the best life as well. I couldn’t do much as a kid to give back to her, so I’m doing what I do because I want her to live a happy retirement.

If there is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?

There’s a comforting food my late uncle used to make, it’s called “Beefsteak”, Filipino-style. It’s sort of a cross between roast beef, beef bulgogi and pulled pork (but make it beef); a combination of those flavours. Of course, coming from a Filipino heritage, we need it with rice. I can eat it daily! Paired with a glass of soda!

What’s your favourite film and why?

Dumbo. Yes, the elephant who could fly. No deep explanations, I just love his spirit!
